So, I went to Collabor88 & just threw my Linden wallet at it. So much amazing stuff. I am going to try my hardest to blog all of the cute stuff I got & not be lazy. Honestly, the easiest part of blogging is putting together the fun outfits, taking the pictures & editing them, (since I do limited photoshopping.) I was going to title this post, "My Ruffle Shoes Bring all the Bats to the Yard," 'cos I'm so in love with these shoes, but that's kind of a mouthful, so I went for Sister Sonar, because most bats use a system of sonar, called echolocation, & I love a little alliteration. As promised, I planted my little dwarf lime tree the day before Easter & he is already so much happier than he was in the pot. I want to plant another fruit tree in my front yard, (then I will have four,) & I already have an avocado tree ready to go in the back yard. The world can always use more trees!

A couple weeks ago The Dressing room featured this dress from Mimikri & I just fell in love with it. The fabric texture is like an impressionist peacock. So lovely. I plied on a bunch of fur, pearls & flowers to complete my look & finished it with a bag that has tassels to match those on my shoes. I adore the frills & flounces so much. There's so many wonderful textures going on here. I want to take this look out of SL & into real life, with a faux fox, of course! All details below.

I am really feeling the Vintage Fair. Yes, I finally was able to go back & the lag was not bad at all. I wasn't able to splurge as much as I would have liked because I kind of blew my budget early this month & I live on a fixed income but there is one more item I may have to go back & get, (I'll keep you posted.) In the meantime I am happy with my Haut.Monde purchases AND I got another pair of shoes from them, (actually a three-pack from the mainstore ~ posting soon!) Plus I have been scouring my inventory for "vintage" finds & pairing them up with some cool new additions I recently picked up. I got a little artsy with the setup on these pics, (I wanted to use my cool furniture!) so the clothes aren't exactly featured the best they could be & they are not from the Vintage Fair but they are pretty vintage looking & pretty great. I really love everything I am wearing here, new items & old favorites.

near the ocean almost my whole life. Now that I am living inland I truly
miss being able to take solace in all that the Sea has to offer. I made
my little parcel in Second Life an "oceanside retreat" for a very
specific reason ~ to be able to virtually revisit this comfort.
