(BTW, after I took these pictures I realized I could have pushed the bow back farther on my head to meet the rise on my hair pouf - it did look better later after I did that, but I saw this too late after I took them. Thoughts & Music ~  

I got the new mesh head from the Sugar Garden & it's SOOOO nice. I did like my Slink head a lot but this one has a lot more makeup & expression features, plus, I have to say, I think it's a lot cuter, in my opinion. I will still use both, for different purposes, for sure. Bottom Line - It's very, very cute & worth the money. I also picked up like a TON of the Physique appliers Eilfie made for her Sugar Garden Skins. (Get ready for me to drag out some of my old TSG skins lol)

I am actually still looking for a decent "middle aged" looking skin . Everything seems to be a child, a teen, a super young adult, or then just - BOOM a super wrinkly OLD person. I found some kind of decent moderate wrinkle layers at the cosmetics fair, not this past one, but the one before, but I am such a layer whore I used all my layers up before I got the look I was going for. I just want to look like a mid 40's woman sometimes. I don't want tons of jowls, exaggerated lines & wrinkles or anything like that, just some regular slightly aged, careworn looks, not a caricature of a person. If anyone knows where I can find some skins like that let me know. Some "mid-life" skins. I have had so much airbrushed perfection, I want to stretch my wings...you know me I always like to try new stuff LOL.

Well, this month has flown by. I have at least three more posts to get out before it finishes so I need to pick up the pace. 

Yesterday I think I slept for about 12 hours or something. I don't actually know how long it was, I just didn't get up until I felt like it & I felt better than I have in a long time. Most of the time I get anywhere from 4 to 8 hours of jagged sleep, (waking up every hour, tons of nightmares,) & I am always tired. 

Anyway. Here we are - me & my besties again. We are called TTP & only we know what that means. lol.

I was going to title this post, "My Ruffle Shoes Bring all the Bats to the Yard," 'cos I'm so in love with these shoes, but that's kind of a mouthful, so I went for Sister Sonar, because most bats use a system of sonar, called echolocation, & I love a little alliteration. As promised, I planted my little dwarf lime tree the day before Easter & he is already so much happier than he was in the pot. I want to plant another fruit tree in my front yard, (then I will have four,) & I already have an avocado tree ready to go in the back yard. The world can always use more trees!

EDITORIAL NOTE: Ok, so apparently I was confused by the picture of an actual "fairy" on the invitation & was accused of misleading someone about the attire of the event. It's true, I do not know everything about every fashion subculture on the planet. Ya got me! I even went to the event the day before & there was another big picture of another traditional fairy on the grounds, so of course I just went with my gut instincts. But that's the last time I will do so since it apparently causes problems. lol

Anyway. I showed up to the event & was greeted warmly. There were other people wearing what looked like traditional fairy looks, some people who looked similar to the gals pictured above & even two people dressed as giant snakes. Go figure. I apologize if I confused anyone with the Fairy costume I blogged, or to anyone I invited to join me at the event. Everything turned out fine, though, & everyone at the event was super nice.
