Thoughts & Music ~

It's been over 8 days since my last post & I feel very behind. I just couldn't get any energy to do anything. The weather here is so oppressive. I really can't wait to move to a cooler climate, but that isn't in the cards for at least a few more years for many different reasons. 

I am very happy with how this post came out, however, & I'm also very excited about all the amazing items I received from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival & my other lovely Sponsors. My heart was literally pounding as I was unpacking! I have two other posts almost ready to go so hopefully I can get back on track to posting every three to four days as I usually do. 

As you can see, I bought the Slink Physique body & the Visage head. I actually really love the body & do like the head a lot, as well, however I would love to be able to customize the expressions a BIT more, but that's just me for you, I always want MORE! lol I had purchased the ghetto booty & I liked that as well, but was having a really hard time getting it to work under dresses, (butt poking through all the time,) but the Physique body has a much smaller rear, while still having lovely legs you can plump up, so this seems to be the answer I was looking for since I missed the boat on the Cute Azz before the litigation began & it was pulled from sale. I will still be able to use the Ghetto Booty for outfits that have appliers because the rear is absolutely ferocious & it's quite fun to have that option once in a while!  Next on my wishlist is getting more skin appliers. I love this Pumec skin & I couldn't ask for an easier HUD, honestly, (Thank you!) but I am a skin whore & I love to change it up all the time. 

Anyway, that's that for now. I hope you are all gearing up for Fantasy Gacha Carnival which starts on the 8th! Meanwhile, don't forget to go to Fit for a Princess, which is currently open! I have lot's more to blog from there as well, so stay tuned. ALSO, LCKY is having a HUGE retirement sale right now. I got cute stuff at Season's Story. You need an octopus on your head & I always love a good Fanny Pack! Also, make sure you go to The Gallery Gift Shop Hunt (TGGS). There's so much neat stuff to find, plus cool stuff to buy. I really love the eyes I found from Angelica - SO pretty, & the KIDD table & chair set is very cool as well. I will be blogging more of the Hunt prizes. I'm a bit backed up with blogging at the moment. I have another picture all ready to go that my besties Jinki & Lili & I took together today but I will have to post that one tomorrow. (Too tired to list all the credits & all tonight.)

I always enjoy Summer in SL, a LOT more then in RL, it's just fun to make cute outfits & be in the "Summertime" theme. I really can't stand the sun in actuality, I much prefer fog & overcast! I do miss the beach massively, though, so all these beach scenes are quite fun.

I love this song, I can't be unhappy when I hear it. Plus the guys are taking everyone to the Beach, so that makes me even happier. I practically get tears in my eyes when they finally get to the water - I'm such a sap! lol. Here's Big Bang with Sunset Glow. Enjoy!

Ever wake up from a hundred years nap & it's simply sweltering outside? What's a lovely ancient Vampire Queen to do but throw an Ice Cream party for her closest pals, am I right? While your eyes adjust to the moonlight you can wear your handy blindfold from Cubic Cherry Kreations! Haha, well, as you can tell, the heat is getting to me, but I think I managed to make a cute little scene here, nonetheless, using some of the delightful offerings from my sponsors, some treats I unearthed in my inventory & a Gacha goodie from this round of the Arcade, as well.

This time it's The Cocteau Twins, a Scottish rock band, who were active from 1979 to 1997. I was even lucky enough to see them in concert in 1994, although it was bittersweet considering it was on the exact day we all found out that Kurt Cobain had shot himself. Liz Frazier, the lead singer, was thoughtful & sensitive enough to take time out during the concert to address the situation & share her grief, (People all over the world were truly stunned from the news,) & it was quite a meaningful gesture to everyone present.
