I've been going through my massive inventory lately, trying to reduce by tossing old, outdated items, items rigged for defunct bodies I never did or will ever own, mesh additions and their appliers such as Wowmeh, NyamNyam, Lola's etc., unreasonably high-complexity or outdated looking hair, jewelry, accessories, and old mesh heads I did love at the time, but haven't touched in YEARS, all while better organizing the keepers.

I started at about 380K items (I blogged for 8 years and have constantly shopped since 2007, so even with deleting along the way, this isn't too surprising.)

I noticed my Alts who have less than 30K load much faster and travel inworld more smoothly, so while I'll probably never be able to reduce my Main's inventory to that degree, (there's just too much good stuff because I have loads of decor, vehicles, and pets & dolls, on top of all the clothing, skin and makeups,) I'm aiming for under 200K. I've made a lot of progress and I'm currently around 213K.

Going through and trying on almost everything has allowed me to rediscover some fantastic creations I'd forgotten about. I found that even things like Slink unrigged shoes and certain styles of clothes will fit on Maitreya and even Legacy bodies.

I was lucky enough to blog for some of the most unique, creative, and respected designers and events in Second Life - for which I'm forever grateful. Many of these are still active.

Thoughts & Music ~

I'm tired, sad & lonely, but y'know - "first world problems." I know I really shouldn't be complaining, but everything is relative & depression hangs on me like a wet, moldy towel. Even when it starts to dry up & I feel better, I catch a foul whiff here & there. Then the rain comes, soaking it again, beginning the process anew. This is a weird metaphor to use because I actually like the rain, but there you go. I've just been watching Horror movies & restricting my diet to lose weight. So far I don't miss cheese, which was my crack, but I am missing bread, which I didn't really eat that much of to begin with. Bread is tempting me like an exotic dancer, begging me to rub it in butter and devour it in a lusty, passionate frenzy. Yeah, I've got problems. Anyway here's a really pretty song by J-Min called Hoo. Enjoy.

Thoughts & Music ~

I just can't get enough of this Fantasy Gacha Carnival. I tried to pile on as much as I could in this post! I just want to show all the cool stuff I got before the month runs out, (Also, I just love to wear tons of stuff!) I need to keep up with all my other wonderful sponsors as well, so I am kind of in a strange middle ground between excited & overwhelmed.

I don't have many other thoughts right now because I'm super hungry & this post took a long time to put together so I will just leave you with this video, so I can go prepare dinner. This is probably one of the prettier songs I have heard in a while, (even though it's very simple,) & I think this video is a work of art. It's too hot today. I opened the back door & it was like a hair dryer on full blast in my face. No thanks. Anyway, I'd rather be in these pictures - so pretty, right? Next round of Fit For a Princess is about to start & judging from what I have received so far it looks like it will be a good one. I love the new Hair & HUD capabilities from LCKY. I'm all about options & this delivers. Speaking of options: someone put together this video featuring BOTH EXO K & M, blending the two version of History together really well. Since most Korean productions, music & dramas are on hold in the wake of the Ferry tragedy, this was kind of nice to hold me over until EXO's Overdose finally gets released. Of course my deepest sympathies go out to all involved & effected by the terrible tragedy.
