Thoughts & Music ~

I probably worked harder on this post than any other, ever . I had to reconstruct chain links & learn a new skill to do so, which was cool. I am pretty proud of how this turned out, but it took a really long time & I am a really slow blogger to begin with so I am wiped out. I am happy that I took any frustration I was feeling & turned it into something beautiful, though.

People who don't understand my heart just never will & that is fine. I don't need to lose my voice yelling at a wall. I will save it for the important songs & those that want to & are able to hear. Even if that means only me...

Here's Siouxsie & the Banshees with a beautiful song called Swimming Horses. Siouxsie (pronounced just like Suzy,) was such a huge inspiration to me growing up. She was & still is an amazing lyricist, singer & performer, not to mention a total style icon. I woke up at four am this morning, ready to finish up this blog post that I had started last night, filled up on coffee, then one thing after another kept going wrong. Both my computer & my phone decided to take a giant dump, so I spent the next 8 hours with my boyfriend trying to fix them. Thankfully everything looks to be in order now, but it was pretty frustrating. Just when you think you have everything planned out - BAM! lol

I just can't get enough of this Fantasy Gacha Carnival. I tried to pile on as much as I could in this post! I just want to show all the cool stuff I got before the month runs out, (Also, I just love to wear tons of stuff!) I need to keep up with all my other wonderful sponsors as well, so I am kind of in a strange middle ground between excited & overwhelmed.

I don't have many other thoughts right now because I'm super hungry & this post took a long time to put together so I will just leave you with this video, so I can go prepare dinner. I have discovered there are a few things I love in SL - well I love a LOT - but I just can't get seem to get enough of cute garters & knee pads. Also, cool eyes & arm warmers. And makeups, like these awesome NOX ones. (See, I love everything.) Anyway, I totally forgot to take a closeup pic of the ZOZ SLink nails & Violent Seduction sadist rings so I will have to blog them again, but trust me, they are really cool.  

I am happy & excited to announce I got accepted to blog for the NEXT Fantasy Gacha Carnival, (August). A facebook friend posted a notice about applications & I had to look through two days worth of posts to find it again but I am glad I did. Later, my bestie Jinki & I were talking & I asked if there was a resource for designers to list when they needed bloggers & sure enough, here it is. I had been relying on word of mouth or Flickr posts before, but this seems pretty concise. Anyway, I am looking forward to the FGC very much!

Thoughts & Music ~ 

I like the dichotomy between the cute & the tough here. I found a lot of old scars & bruises in my inventory that I wore years ago & paired them with the newer Clemmm damaged Hands for Slink. I pretty much based the whole outfit around wanting to do something with the cute Kawaii Panda Helmet from Envious. I also had the Kawaii Kyoot Chainsaw & Gladiator set from Epic & when I popped on the adorable icing 'stache from Sweet Thing, more ideas just started rolling in. I think the final look is really cute & I hope you like it as well.

I've been trying to fight off some sad thoughts lately so this post is especially relevant. It's easy to get down & despair, but I have to try hard to remember not to give up - to keep going no matter what. I have to remember that I can find joy & solace in my friends & family, in art, literature, music, movies, nature & animals. I have to keep fighting.
