I've been going through my massive inventory lately, trying to reduce by tossing old, outdated items, items rigged for defunct bodies I never did or will ever own, mesh additions and their appliers such as Wowmeh, NyamNyam, Lola's etc., unreasonably high-complexity or outdated looking hair, jewelry, accessories, and old mesh heads I did love at the time, but haven't touched in YEARS, all while better organizing the keepers.
I started at about 380K items (I blogged for 8 years and have constantly shopped since 2007, so even with deleting along the way, this isn't too surprising.)
I noticed my Alts who have less than 30K load much faster and travel inworld more smoothly, so while I'll probably never be able to reduce my Main's inventory to that degree, (there's just too much good stuff because I have loads of decor, vehicles, and pets & dolls, on top of all the clothing, skin and makeups,) I'm aiming for under 200K. I've made a lot of progress and I'm currently around 213K.
Going through and trying on almost everything has allowed me to rediscover some fantastic creations I'd forgotten about. I found that even things like Slink unrigged shoes and certain styles of clothes will fit on Maitreya and even Legacy bodies.
I was lucky enough to blog for some of the most unique, creative, and respected designers and events in Second Life - for which I'm forever grateful. Many of these are still active.

Mesh Head: The Sugar Garden "TSG" Spoiled Vampire Princess BJD Head (I have a few of these Ball Jointed Doll heads and they're SO pretty and cute - the eyes even blink! The Sugar Garden was one of my all-time favorite stores and I miss it so much. I still wear a lot of their stuff to this day. Their mesh and BOM eyes are especially beautiful, and some can be found on the Marketplace.
